Twenty-first Century India: It is not the job of the US to stop Pakistani terrorism against India

An excellent article from the blog Twenty-first Century India: It is not the job of the US to stop Pakistani terrorism against India.

Unprincipled politicians in India are counting on the short memory of Indians concerning terrorist attacks in India.

Thanks for your comment... I sincerely hope the US will be more active in rooting out Pakistani-sponsored terrorism against India; simply because such terrorists are enemies of USA too...

Unfortuntely the Indian Government is not serious about fighting terror; it is more interested in Muslim vote bank politics... so it is hard to see how the US can help the citizens of India whose own Government does not care about their lives...

In this light, I don't think it is unfair of the USA to use Pakistan to its own advantage...

India can only expect US co-operation and help in combating Pakistani terror if the citizens of India can guarantee to the US that such help and co-operation will be appreciated by a Govt of India that seriously wants to fight against terrorism...

It is not fair for Indian citizens to expect the US to come to their rescue sacrificing its (US) own interests in Pakistan (like industrial and arms contracts, army bases, airfields etc) while India is ruled by a Leftist Government with US-hating Communist allies like CPI(M) that vilify the US in every media statement they have ever released, and so-called "secular" parties that take every opportunity to appease Radical Islamic political pressure groups and constituencies in India and do nothing to combat repeated instances of Islamic terror...

I added support for Bloglines and My Yahoo! on 21centuryindia.blogspot.com. Hope it helps (I happened to notice that you use bloglines at some point when I was setting it up; the current button should make it easier than searching/adding).

I would be interested in how Hindu women react to the purported action by Kerala Communists to fight for "women's rights" in demanding that the temple of celibate Lord Ayyappa at Sabarimela be opened to women.

While I'm for gender equality, I don't believe the Communists have the best interests of women at hearst. I've claimed in http://21centuryindia.blogspot.com/2006/08/open-challenge-to-kerala-leftists.html
that in that case they should also have fought for abolition of the anti-women Shariah Law passing under the guise of Muslim Personal Law.

A few female Indians already told me the article was great. But I'd like to hear from more. If you agree with what I wrote then as a woman you'd likely make more impact than me as a man if you were to come out against the Communists claiming to fight for your rights on your blo as well.

Wish you a great week !

Best Regards,
Harsh
